Sue Peterson has been an animal lover her entire life and personally cares for several dogs and cats rescued from local shelters. She is a Certified Animal Acupressure Massage Practitioner and received her training from Lisa M. Speaker, founder of the Rocky Mountain School of Acupressure Massage. Sue has been certified as a Reiki Master/Teacher (Usui System) and a Karuna Healing Master by Joanne Hibbert, R.N. of the Center for Wholistic Health. She also received certification as an Animal Reiki Practitioner by Lorraine May of the Journey Metaphysical Center. Sue has completed all 4 levels of Healing Touch for Animals (HTA) training for canines and horses from Carol Komitor. She has been certified in animal first aid from the American Red Cross. In addition to animal-related training, Sue holds a B.S. and M.S. from UW-Madison.

Sue has been an active volunteer with the Clear Creek County Animal Shelter, the MaxFund, and the Misha May Foundation.
